How It Works
Angels works on one simple idea: the people who care about you should be able to help when you need it — on your terms.
Choose your persona, build your safety plan, set your coping strategies. We guide you through it on a good day, so it's ready for a hard one.
Pick 1-3 people you trust. They accept your invitation, set their own boundaries, and become part of your safety net. No surveillance — just presence.
A 30-second mood check-in each day. It builds your streak, surfaces patterns, and means your angels know you're OK — without you having to say it.
Features
From a 30-second check-in to a one-tap crisis button. One continuum from calm to crisis.
Daily Wellbeing
A daily check-in takes 30 seconds. Over time, it builds a picture of your wellbeing that you — and your angels — can see at a glance.
Safety Planning
Create your safety plan when you're calm. Contacts, coping strategies, things to avoid. Access it in two taps when you need it most.
Your angels have been alerted. Your safety plan is below.
Crisis Support
When you need help now, Angels activates your safety net instantly. Your trusted contacts are alerted. Your coping strategies appear. No friction.
Who It's For
Angels is for anyone who manages their mental health — and the people who care about them.
Privacy & Safety
Angels is built on a simple principle: you control everything. What you share, with whom, and when. No exceptions.
Choose what each angel can see. Mood only? Journal too? Per-person, per-metric. Change it any time with one tap.
If someone is checking too often or pressure seems unusual, Angels detects it and offers you a safe way out. Designed with domestic abuse experts.
Need to hide the app fast? Quiet exit mode makes Angels invisible instantly. No trace. No notification to anyone. You're in control.
Questions
Yes. Your journal is encrypted and visible only to you. You choose exactly what each angel can see — mood only, check-in streaks, or nothing at all. We never sell data, never show ads, and are fully DTAC compliant. Angels is UK-hosted and designed with privacy regulators, not just privacy policies.
Angels has built-in coercion detection. If someone is checking your data excessively or you change sharing settings under duress, the app notices and offers a safe way to limit access — without notifying the other person. This was designed with domestic abuse specialists.
Absolutely — it's designed to complement professional support, not replace it. Guardian users can export mood data and journal entries as a PDF to share with their therapist, making sessions more productive. Several clinical advisors helped shape the check-in flow.
One tap sends an immediate alert to your chosen angels. Your safety plan appears with your coping strategies at the top. A real-check asks "are you safe?" to calibrate the response. After the crisis passes, Angels follows up at day 1, 3, 7, and 14 — because recovery doesn't end when the moment passes.
The free tier includes everything you need to stay safe: crisis activation, safety plan, daily check-ins with 7-day history, and one angel connection. We believe crisis support should never be behind a paywall. Guardian adds deeper insights, more angels, and longer history — nice to have, not need to have.
We're opening early access in summer 2026 for a small group of users and clinical advisors. Join the waitlist to get priority access and help shape the product. We're building this with the people who'll use it, not just for them.
